For more than two decades, my work has centered on one mission: helping individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive. From classrooms and counseling rooms to community programs and international nonprofit leadership, every chapter of my career has shaped the vision behind GuideMe Coaches—a coaching practice built on compassion, evidence‑based strategies, and a deep belief in human resilience.
GuideMe Coaches is more than a business. It is the culmination of my experience as a therapist, educator, researcher, life coach, and advocate for vulnerable populations. It is a place where people find clarity, direction, and support as they navigate life’s most important transitions.
A Career Rooted in Service and Human Development
My professional journey began in child and family services, where I supported families facing crisis, trauma, and systemic barriers. Over the years, I expanded my work into mental health, addiction recovery, higher education, and nonprofit leadership. Earning my PhD in Public Health and Applied Human Sciences strengthened my commitment to research‑informed practice and community‑centered solutions.
Across roles—as a therapist, professor, case manager, and executive director—I have witnessed the transformative power of guidance, education, and emotional support. GuideMe Coaches was born from that understanding.
The Expertise Behind GuideMe Coaches
At GuideMe Coaches, clients benefit from a unique blend of clinical insight, coaching structure, and research‑driven strategies. My training in CBT, DBT, SFBT, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and trauma‑informed care allows me to approach coaching with depth, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
But what truly defines our work is the belief that every person deserves a guide—someone who listens, empowers, and walks alongside them as they build a life they are proud of.

A Transnational Vision for Healing and Empowerment
My work with Upendo Kids Inc. in Kenya continues to shape the heart of GuideMe Coaches. Serving children affected by trauma, poverty, and displacement taught me that healing must be holistic, culturally grounded, and accessible. Today, GuideMe Coaches serves clients across borders, offering coaching that honors identity, faith, culture, and lived experience.
